Open Access Policy

This journal is published under the open access model and is therefore free for anybody to read and download, and to copy and disseminate.

Articles are published immediately after final corrections of the master proof have been made and approved. When posted online, articles are assigned a DOI number (Digital Object Identifier) whereby it becomes possible to search and cite them without delay.

Authors contributing to Nordic Research in Music Education retain copyright to their articles but agree to publish them under a Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0 License. The terms of this license permit third parties to freely copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and to adapt, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated. The foregoing may be done in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses the third party or their use.

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their articles, after publication, to personal and/or institutional websites and to archive their articles in institutional or funder repositories to insure even greater public access. Supplementary material should also be included when applicable. In addition, authors are permitted to post pre-print versions of their articles to institutional websites, repositories and similar (on the condition that all bibliographic information is also provided).
