Nordic Research in Music Education is looking for new editors!

The journal is currently seeking 1-2 new editors in the Editorial Team. This is a voluntary position with a duration of 3-5 years, with overlapping periods amongst the team members.

Responsibilities

The editors' main tasks are to make all professional decisions about publishing articles in the journal, adhering to the journal guidelines. Further, the editors administer the review process and editing of accepted submissions. The Editorial Team is ethically and legally responsible for all editorial decisions related to the journal, and must comply with high standards and best practice in research. The Editorial Team is led by the Editor-in-Chief, and is appointed by and answers to the Editorial Board.

Qualifications

Applicants for an editor position must have completed a PhD within music education or related fields and should have experience with academic publishing and reviewing.

Selection process

In the selection of Editorial Team members, the Editorial Board strives for diversity and a balanced composition as far as possible with regard to geography, network member institutions, and gender.
